Access
eGovernment is an educational service of Penn State Cooperative
Extension, designed to help county and municipal governments make
smart choices about planning and implementing eGovernment. Access
eGovernment includesface-to-face presentations
and implementation assistance on eGovernment, as well as a web-based
eGovernment Implementation Guide.
The on-line
guide is a great resource that provides a step-by step process and
resource materials that can help local government officials get started
(or restarted) designing and maintaining a dynamic and useful eGovernment
Web site to transact business and communicate with your citizens.
Two Access
eGovernment workshops are offered across the state. Intro to eGovernment
is a 45 minute programs that provides a basic introduction to eGovernment.
The eGovernment Hands-On Tour is a 4-hr hands on computer training
that helps participants learn how other governments are using eGovernment
to deliver information and services.
