about e-government Access eGovernment is an educational service of Penn State Cooperative Extension, designed to help county and municipal governments make smart choices about planning and implementing eGovernment. Access eGovernment includes face-to-face presentations and implementation assistance on eGovernment, as well as a web-based eGovernment Implementation Guide.
e-government guide The on-line guide is a great resource that provides a step-by step process and resource materials that can help local government officials get started (or restarted) designing and maintaining a dynamic and useful eGovernment Web site to transact business and communicate with your citizens.
Two Access eGovernment workshops are offered across the state. Intro to eGovernment is a 45 minute programs that provides a basic introduction to eGovernment. The eGovernment Hands-On Tour is a 4-hr hands on computer training that helps participants learn how other governments are using eGovernment to deliver information and services.
